What is Computer Club?

Computer Club is a small forum loosely about technology. While computers and technology bring us together, it's the people that make this place meaningful.

We discuss technology broadly like [Users' Groups](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Users'_group) of the past, such as Homebrew and BMUG, instead of focusing on single topics like keyboards or programming. We also encourage off topic discussions like cooking, coffee, photography, etc.

Unlike other forums like Hacker News or Level1Techs, we keep things intentionally small, capped at 128 members for now.

Why Not Discord?

Discord can be exhausting to keep up with. Small communities get lost among all the notifications and noise. We want a space that doesn't burden our attention.

Forums are a return to a calmer internet. No pressure to constantly check in.

Why Ponder?

We chose Ponder for its simplicity. RSS feeds and email summaries help members stay connected at their own pace. If we outgrow Ponder, we'll move to Discourse.

Privacy and Data Usage
